Day 11 in Wuhan

Our first group picture with Mr Loh :D
Today was my first day having IS lesson for this trip. IS lesson are all conducted by the local teachers in English. To my surprise, they can speak fluent english.
For the first IS lesson we had, we were teached by Anna. We learn about the culture of Wuhan, the different dynasties, festivals that they celebrate, and the famous places (Tourist attraction areas). It was so interesting that my eyes were wide open despite only having a few hours of sleep on that night. I wanna explore Wuhan!!! :D
Had Western food for Lunch.
In the afternoon, BPE lesson was cancelled and therefore we headed back to Hostel to revise our Flexim. Gotta be prepared for the first Practical test...
In the evening we then had a surprise birthday celebration specially for MingYu & ShunQing. Firstly, we dragged the both of them to the stadium, while others went to the nearby bakery to get the birthday cakes. Preparation was done within an hour and it was finally the time to present the cakes. We sang birthday song and then proceed to the "tradional game". The place was chaotic indeed. While some got their "facial", the others continued to played soccer with a group of local people... Singapore vs China. and yeap, im proud to be a Singaporean. SINGAPORE WIN!!! It was indeed a close one and everyone enjoyed. :)
Last but not least, "Happy 19th Birthday MingYu!"
& i'm so looking forward to this weekend City Tour!!! :D

Quote of the day- Freedom lies in the being bold. -R.Frost
Reflection- I though i've understand the chinese culture, but i was totally wrong. After listening to Anna's lecture, i realised there are many aspect in the Chinese culture. It was indeed a interesting one. I shall make use of the rest of my 31 days in Wuhan to explore!!!
