Day 12 in Wuhan

Is weekend again!!! :D
Today we had a
City Tour around Wuhan.
Firstly, we visited 东湖, a lake with
beautiful scenery, and the Exhibition Hall for
QuYuan was there too. Here is a brief story os QuYuan: QuYuan was kind of the Emperor right hand man. One day, QuYuan was devastated as the emperor choose to trust another emperor then him, and eventually, he committed suicide. Another sad story in the Chinese History.
We then went on to 湖北省博物馆 (Museum)to understand and view the ancient relics of China history. Seeing the ancient artefacts, including the TOMBS! The museum was so huge that we only manage to cover about one and half buildings out of three building given the time frame.
Next we proceed to have our lunch at
Shou Garden Snack Street. The food was great, especially the well known Tang Bao (Soup dumblings). How i wish i have more time over there and try all kinds of food.
Next destination is the
Yellow Crane Tower, and it was indeed a tiring moment. Why do i say so? From the outer view of the building, the building seems to only have 5 storeys high, however to get up there, we are required to climb stairs that are 9 storeys high. What a great workout! To some people, this tower maybe just an ordinary, but behind this tower, it has a rich history in it. Here's the story about the Yellow Crane Tower :

The view from the top was so beautiful, and we were able to see the industrial buildings and expressways. I just had a great feeling standing at the top of the building enjoying the views. Headed back to Hostel once we finish our visit.
Totally exhausted by the end of the day, today's activites were too cramped up... :(
Quote of the day- Well done is better than well said. -B.Franklin
Reflection- There is a rich history for chinese, and it is never enough to understand them in less then a day. It is a blessing that i am able to view some of the artefacts that are being left over from many thousands years ago. I hope these artefacts can be preserve so that in the future generations, they are able to view it. :)
JunRu is falling sick. Hope she gets better...
