Day 26 & 27

Gloria Ong have conquer the Wudang Mountain!!! :D

We set off at 7am on Saturday morning and headed off to Wudang San. The trip there was a long one.
We sat on the bus for at least 7 hours, and by the time we reach our destination it was already in the evening. The air was thin and cold at the TaiHe Hotel. Dinner at the hotel and then we had a early night to prepare our hike to Wudang mountain the very next day.
Sunday morning, we set off at around the same time and this was the beginning of the hiking. It was very tiring as there were thousands of steps. According to Dr Tan (LSCT Division lecturer), we climbed a total number of 5121 steps! Impressive!
When we reached the peak of the mountain, everyone was elated. We stayed at the peak for quite awhile as everyone take a breathe of the fresh air. Some of us also purchased a lock on the way up to the mountain, whereby once the lock is being lock, your friendship, kinship and relationship will be locked. 7 of us, Edy, Roy, Polim, YokeMay, MingYu, jarold and myself had our lock together. Probably we can be business partner in the future. haha
After enjoying the beautiful scenery, we headed down to the cable car station, and make our way back. Initially, we wanted to head down the mountain with our legs, however due to time constraint, we will have to take the cable car. The journey took about 20 minutes.
Hanging metres high from the ground floor was no joke. It was scary, but at the same time, I was fascinated over the view. Is been years ever since i took a cable car...
After the cable car ride, we headed to our coach and headed back to WUST.
Everyone just felt asleep soundly when we had the long ride in the bus….
Quote of the day- "The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present."-Alice Morse Earle
Reflection- Everything is in your mind. If you think you can conquer the mountain, you can. But if you think you can't do it, you will never suceed. STAY POSITIVE!
