Day 3 in Wuhan

3 Sept 2009.
Instead of having a better weather, the weather just got worst. It was so humid that I was sweating profusely.
We started our day at about 11am, and headed to Town. & it was the very first time i took a public bus in Hubei. We took the public bus to the shopping mall, and the journey was pretty jerky.
There were no bells on the bus, neither were there machines to collect our payment. Everything was through manual labour. (People shouting to alight & having a conductor to collect the money and issuing the bus tickets). I just didn't expect this.
After 30 mins ride, we arrived at I-GO Shopping Mall (the longest pedestrian in the world of 1350 metres long), & we had free-and-easy schedule till 6pm.
There were many shops in the mall, but some shops are actually selling the similar things.
We walked and strolled till it was finally 5.45pm and we headed to the meeting point.
Journey back to the hostel was terrible as it was a peak period. We've actually missed 2 buses and we had to chase after the bus that was coming next. Xanier and i tried our best to stop the bus. That scene was just like typicals Aunt being KiaSu in Singapore.
The bus was sardine pack, and it was definitely a bad experience. This was wen i started to appreciate Singapore SBS Buses. How i wish i could rent a bicycle and cycle back to school at that moment!
Reached hostel and we had our free & easy dinner. We decided to have street stalls food again :D however, not from the similar street, but the opposite one. Hygiene was almost similar to the previous street however they had a wider variety of food. Tasted all the eccentric food and im craving more... Just pray that i do not get any food poisoning or diarrhoea. haha. & oh ya, i also saw people playing pool at an open area. Haha, i guess i'll nva get to see that in Singapore...LOL that is how i ended my day :DDD
Catch me soon :D
